Second: I got ambushed by the enemy again. The Natural Chapter Break has been having its merry way with the last of March, and that's why this one came in at 5400 words. Any extra scenes placed into this section would have been exactly that. It's not kind to the pacing of the story, and so the scene ended there. Because that's where the story wanted it to end.
