Hi everyone. I decided to cut together a little teaser video for Father Turned Me Into Trees And Rivers. I wanted a way to give you some vibes and gameplay without a lot of narrative context and without getting too bogged down into how stuff works... the game has a lot of things I would like you to discover yourself! That’s always sort of a way I want players to approach my games... I think the terrain of ideas I put into the world of a game is what makes people like my stuff... like it gives them something to grab onto, something to think about, but it also enhances the aesthetic qualities.

A warning though, if you watch this video, you just might be able to perhaps derive some things about the story and world of the game. Maybe you, as a Yames patron, are able to look at my stuff and go like “oh yeah, classic Yames!” Or perhaps you will be totally lost. Which is OK! The game will be done soon enough and you will be able to play it. I lament the fact that I am 10 days past my deadline but I am pushing on. Thank you for your patience anyhow. I am very excited to get this project to you all, I think it is very cool. As I mentioned before, it’s a good blend of the older and newer Yames games.
