Fits the mood and all, but I think the no pants scene needed to clarify the fact it was Jason a little more. As it is, it really isn't clear the barbecue guy was the same as the ninja with starry cape guy.

There are to many things/pieces that make it feel to me like the animator just wanted to do their own thing with the loosest of outlines of the story, something feel off in pretty much every scene, the hydra does not feel like it matches either of the 2 Jason fought, even the image of greenstone feels off.

Tue essence system seem likening would be hard to implement fully (how powers tend to flow into each other's like Humphrey's storage was it leading into his summoning). But would make for an amazing game if implemented properly. Though many would not like the random chance.

Really good. Should grab a lot of attention in the LitRPG world. I’m surprised marketing didn’t force you to have the “sexy babe” addition. I bet they tried. One negative comment, the music is unbalanced. For that song and the overall feel of Jason, more bass (driving feel) and less of the guitar (feels off). Good idea bouncing it off us.

I‘m confused. Wouldn’t it be easy to give specific scenes (in the books) that describe his powers well, to the animators? I can easily understand not wanting to read multiple books, but well described fight scenes from the book should do it, shouldn’t it?

I don’t know any Aussie that “grills” snags on a charcoal barbie like in that bud, with a fork. Jason would use tongs, and he would know to clang the tongs at least twice before you can use them. Otherwise it’s good stuff. Cheers mate.

I admit that whoever did it put lots of work and on its own it is good but not for this novel. Yeah It is nit-picking so feel free to dismiss the rest. First (and personal) I don't like the attire, purely aesthetical point and it doesn't seem like the description of the book but more like a generalization. Second, the lightning power... either complete bullshit or let's say that it's his finisher that does transcendental damage however he casted it to free space, it looks cool but this ties to 3rd Third, he himself calls him a knife guy and yet he always appears casting magic and fighting from the front. Sure, he uses magic, sure he faces his enemies but either he evades or teleports to not enter a frontal confrontation which is exactly the opposite of what looks in the video. Sorry, for me this is a hard pass, the video looks cool but it doesn't really go well with the novel. I do admit however that the video on its own is good and well made

That’s great promotional material. I really don’t like that they did not use the same art style for the cloak, instead opting for realistic space images. I think I space doesn’t even look like that outside from rendert telescope images. I may be wrong there. I also don’t know of a better option.

I tried to get the animators to make it more like his actual powers (and did, compared to early versions) but they didn't want to read all the books. My favourite bit is the cloak, which has a real rift-in-space feel.
