The transition begins

As of the end of August, I'll be moving from Patreon to SubscribeStar. To be blunt, I simply don't trust this platform anymore after numerous debacles of patrons' subs being cancelled for reasons beyond their control, shady practices that resulted in lawsuits against the company, several adult artists being removed without warning, and direct threats against my work.

I'll be as brief as possible so this hopefully won't overwhelm anyone. All you need to know are as follows:

• This page will remain up, but will not be updated. It will only serve as what amounts to a tip jar, and possibly as an alternative to those that have to use Paypal, as SubscribeStar doesn't allow it.
• When making a SubscribeStar account, link your Discord to it. If you don't have a Discord account, I HIGHLY recommend you make one. Discord is a reliable way to see everything, and linking your accounts will automatically give you appropriate access on any device. Having a Discord is especially important since I will not be updating this page starting in September.
• HOW TO MOVE SITES: This is very important. In order to avoid being charged twice in one month during the move, there is a particular window of time that would be ideal to move in. Here is the full process:

-Make a SubscribeStar account and link it to your Discord.

-When September comes, join the appropriate tier. Do this after August 31st, during September. SubscribeStar charges on the first of every month, so joining before then will charge you on the day you joined and also on the first of the next month.

-Cancel your Patreon pledge before September 3rd. Patreon charges on the third of each month, so if your pledge is still active then, it will charge you again.

-To help guarantee that you can keep your tier, SubscribeStar tiers are closed temporarily. Later in the month, I will reopen tier 3 at an undisclosed time and only notify patrons already at tier 3 so they have a chance to move. The same will happen later with tier 2. I will make another post shortly visible only to tier 3 patrons about when this will happen.

-You don't need to take immediate action, though I would recommend making your account as soon as possible. You don't really need to follow these instructions, but they exist to make sure things go as smoothly as possible, letting people keep their slots, and making sure you don't get charged for the same month by both sites.

For now, all you need to do is make a SubscribeStar account sometime within the next month, and connect your Discord to it. I'll send out notifications when it's time to move, and everything will be taken care of. If you absolutely cannot join SubscribeStar and have to stay on Patreon, I'll send you a manual invite to the server. Hopefully that covers everything for now.
