This hasn't been officially revealed yet, but the next paid pack will be about Metroid Prime. It's kind of odd that Samus has appeared in the most packs so far, but has yet to have one all to herself; she's always been featured in "themed" packs that she just happened to fit in. It's high time I fixed that, so expect a lot more Metroid to be heading down the pipeline in the near future.
Now, with this focusing on the Prime games, I currently plan to include an image from each of the main ones (1-4, or 1-3 + Hunters depending on if 4 gets shown off soon) and because I care a lot about Metroid, I wanted to do the series as much justice as possible by giving special attention to the theming and character designs. This is actually the first time I've done concept art for a pack instead of just improvising, so it was admittedly weird to do. These sketches were all done in preparation for some possible ideas for Echoes, which jumped around a lot while I was trying to settle on what to do. In the end, none of these ended up being used in the pack, but I still like how they all came out. It's kind of a shame the ideas didn't pan out, but what we ended up with is something that I think is more closely and recognizably Echoes, which keeps it understandable for casual fans without sacrificing faithfulness to the source material while also delivering an interesting scenario.
Let's be real: a veiny, five legged anthropomorphic demon invertebrate isn't exactly an approachable concept, anyway.
And before we go, also relevant: there's a bit of an announcement of sorts to make regarding an upcoming project, but that will have to wait until February. I don't want to jump the gun, but suffice it to say, we've hit a milestone here on this page and while I really want to get on that, the numbers shown aren't always 100% accurate since not all payments go through, but hey; it looks like you lovely patrons are on the precipice of some fancy rewards for all your support, so I hope that's something we can all look forward to.
