It's a wall of text, so settle in for a long read.

So I've been thinking about what to do next for about a month now. When the original goal of 200 was hit earlier this year, I had no actual plans for future ones simply because I didn't think it would happen, and I had no idea what else could be done within my limitations. I don't have the skills to make something like a short comic, I don't have enough connections for collabs, and whatever it would end up being would need to be different. I briefly considered doing a second Gag Sequence pack since the first one was very well received, but I have no concrete ideas for a theme and would rather keep that on in reserve for the future.

An idea that was brought to my attention recently was the idea of bringing back that monster girl series I did a few years ago. In fact, I already made a sequel series, with eight fully coloured and shaded images ready to go... that I never did anything with. They've been sitting on my hard drive for almost three years, collecting digital dust, waiting for the connecting story to be finished. I have no idea what I'll be doing with that yet, but I can safely say that I wouldn't be comfortable repackaging old stuff and calling it a reward. Instead, I settled on something different that I think you'll enjoy.

In a similar vein to the Gag Sequence pack, it will be an eight image pack, also released entirely for free. However, instead of each image featuring a roughly seven step progression of heavier gags, the entire pack would be a full sequence; eight unique images with a handful of variants, all depicting the sequence of events surrounding a character being kidnapped, ranging from the initial capture to transportation, holding, and ransom, and possibly escape or rescue too.

The character to use for such a pack was complicated to work out, and it's going to take some time to finalize that... mainly because I'm going to hold a poll to decide who gets grabbed! It was originally going to be ten polls of randomly chosen characters from the same list I used for the monthly sketch, followed by a final poll with the ten winners, but that would take several weeks to get through and would end up causing headaches in the long run. If it was someone I don't know much about, it would require a lot of additional research to make a scenario that makes sense in context. That's why I've decided to take a more practical approach that I think you'll still be on board with; OCs.

I don't really work with my characters much anymore, and that really needs to change, but I would argue that it could be even better to work with someone else's character. So, when/if the next goal is reached, I'll be putting up a poll to decide what character will be featured; it will not only feature some of my girls, but I'll also ask some other artists on DA if I can include one of theirs in the poll. Since this pack would be free, there would be no financial complications to worry about, and the only involvement they would need is some consultation on the character's design and any particular limits on what they do and don't want said character to be shown doing.

And that leads to the question of the actual number to set this goal at. 400 would make sense, so that's most likely where it will be, but I'm also considering the idea of stretch goals. I don't know if that's really a thing Patreon can do per se, but... I don't know, is that something you guys would want? Basically it would add some extra bells and whistles to the pack if it goes higher by certain amounts. Certainly nothing that wouldn't already be in the pack or anything like that, I have no intentions of withholding any of it, but maybe I could add a ninth image or something if it goes higher, maybe with a second character, who knows? That part is still up in the air.

But yeah, that should about cover it for today. Let me know what you think about all this, because I can't feasibly provide what you want if I don't know what it is. Thanks for sticking through this novel-sized post, by the way.

Are you I the market to give thought of, if you had the connections, to make comic shorts? 3 panel shorts are the rage and believe me, you have the more than enough skill to do these! As for ides towards your next creative goal, I'd say throw up a poll and ask us for the path.
