TW: house fire and death

hey everyone :) i hope everyone’s doing well!!

so i had fully intended on returning to making cc in july, had a few concepts sketched out and everything - i also have a pinterest board absolutely full of inspo for an upcoming pack that i’m excited to do.

unfortunately, on the 11th, my house kinda caught fire and is completely unlivable. they will be tearing it down to the studs and rebuilding it, so me and my family have found another home to live in while they rebuild it. very luckily, nobody was killed in the fire. i was taken to the ER but i was discharged that night. my family is safe and my pets are alive. additionally, none of my supplies like my ipad or laptop were damaged by the flames, just smoke damage that we’ve been able to work around.

however, the morning of the 12th, my dearest grandmother passed away, leaving us all devastated. she was only 65 years old and the absolutely sweetest woman i have ever met. she loved her grandkids so much and i am heartbroken she won’t get to meet her great-grandkids in the future.

as you can imagine, this has definitely made making cc a bit of a difficulty, unfortunately. however, i think things are finally settling down enough to where i can begin creating again. i’ll be taking it slow and not pushing myself too much, but i think creating to cope with the losses i’ve faced will be good for me
