Sorry. We thought you were our shadow. Our mistake. We haven’t seen our shadow since ought two. They said they were going out for milk and cigarettes and never came back, leaving us with three half-shadow-half-flesh monstrosities and a mountain of gambling debt.

That's why we don't believe in Groundhog Day. Punxsutawney Phil sees his shadow damn near every year! It’s unfair! Plus, he’s immortal, which is arguably more unfair. Did you know about this shit? Every seven years he’s fed an “Elixir of Life” which keeps him forever young by a shadowy cabal of top hat-wearing sycophants calling themselves “The Groundhog Club”. You guys got the recipe for the Elixir of Life and can’t figure out a better group name than that? And what of poor Phyllis?! That’s Phil’s wife, by the way. SHE doesn’t get the groundhog equivalent of Morbius Juice! Only that arrogant god-king Phillip! Content to watch the cursed cycle of death and replacement of groundWHOREs every 6-8 years, each named Phyllis, like an even freakier fur-covered marmot Leonardo DiCaprio. Phil’s wrong for that. Just like he’s wrong about the goddamn weather. Dumbass.

Okay, we gotta change the subject. We’re gettin’ the angry sweats. In lighter news, we're pleased to announce that we've been working on some collabs with the extremely talented SusAnims, who is in NO WAY affiliated with Big Weather or any of their adorable animal despots with surprisingly complex lore. SusAnims is on the side of the people! In case you’re unaware, SusAnims is a supremely talented 3D animator with scores of My Hero Academia shorts over on his channel. We’ve been huge fans for years, and it's a privilege to collaborate with him! Look forward to whatever cursed things we ask him to subject you to~

Did you know he can talk to groundhogs? Sorry, we mean the president of the Groundhog Club, not SusAnims. I mean, we don’t KNOW that SusAnims can’t also talk to groundhogs; he simply lacks the ancient magical acaciawood cane that would facilitate such an ability. You know. The one that translates English to Groundhogese and vice versa? That one. Similarly, the translating of the various source materials of the projects we work on into humorous abbreviated reenactments has been going swimmingly! And no ancient acaciawood cane to be seen! Take that, Thomas Dunkel, current president of the Groundhog Club! SAOA 20 editing is nearing the halfway point of completion, and YOU CAN’T STOP IT!!! EXPECT A PREVIEW CLIP ON PATREON SOON, TOM!!! It may well come six weeks early! Early of what? We’ll never tell. The same can be said for MHAA 6 and FruBA 2! TwoBA, as they like to call it. Who’s “they”? The Inner Circle of The Groundhog Club, those who govern the prognostications of The Hog, and commit them to the sacred scrolls! 

These scrolls are written two at a time, one predicting early spring and one damning us to additional winter. One might call them frauds and cowards. One would be right. Speaking of write, we’ll be “wrighting” some “fanfiction” this coming Friday, and that prognostication will NOT be contested by Phil’s many competitors, like Wiarton Willie (Ontario’s local groundhog), Shubenacadie Sam, (Nova Scotia’s eepy-sleeby and incomprehensibly named hog) and of course, Bee Cave Bob, a leprosy-addled armadillo soothsayin’ out in the wild west of Texas. Funny that all three of these future-seeing furry creatures disagree with Phil. They see the future with only the accuracy that one who fears their own mortality can muster. Unlike that unholy abomination Phil, who has grown complacent and decadent in his debaucherous life of constant wife-swapping. YOUR DIONYSIAN EXTRAVAGANCE HAS BLINDED YOU, PHIL!!! THE PLIGHT OF MORTALS IS REAL, PHIL, BUT IT FALLS UPON THE DEAF FURRY HOLES YOU CALL EARS!!!

Also: only a, like, 35% accuracy rating? Fucking pathetic.

What else is pathetic is the way Spotify blinded us to inconsistent updates to the podcast version of our space-themed D&D show, SWE&D: The Crypt Star Saga. Turns out that it stopped uploading to the main playlist and went rogue, starting an entirely new playlist out of nowhere, with the exact same name and everything, so it’s nearly impossible to find the real one! Impossible, that is, unless you have this handy dandy little link we got here! WE are generous with our gifts, unlike those hacks at The Groundhog Club.
