The year was 2020, I had a family then...a future...then the incident...
That virus took everything from me... my wife...my kids...my sweet big screen TV.
OH, RONDA!!! I MISS YOU SO MUCH!!!!!
None of us took it seriously, we thought we had more time...how were we to know the virus would develop a nuclear arsenal right under our noses...and sometimes...inside of our noses. We never stood a chance!
My only solace is...working on the fine products of Something Witty Entertainment. Hi, my name is Clyde, I'm new here. The SWE peeps(as they demand to be called, under threat of whipping) are practicing social distancing and self-quarantining, so naturally working on their computers is far too great a risk. I hear the virus has infected social media now...the bastard.
It's not a bad life, working 20 hours a day for old luncheon meats, I get a nice cardboard box to sleep in and only like, 2 roommates. Mack sometimes lets me have his scraps... like a dog, it's fine, I'll be your dog, I got no shame, I WANNA LIVE!!!! DON'T YOU JUDGE ME!!!! LIKE STEVE!!! YOU STAY ON YOUR SIDE OF THE BOX STEVE, THIS SIDE IS MINE!!!!!

I sometimes get lonely, Steve is of little comfort. I've tried to strike up a conversation with the other guy, but I'm starting to think he might be dead. Far more flies than I would consider normal. Seven...seven flies is normal.  

I was given work from the prophets on high that once I finish the SAOA and MHAA previews that would have been shown at Sakura-Con, (by the way, don't get yo tickets fo Sakura-Con, it's canceled just like everything else) they're gonna show em on their Friday Stream! I'm told that if the previews go over well, I'll be given a whole sandwich...that's only FOUR days out of date. They keep it in a glass case next to the window to inspire me, I can already smell the mayo baking in the sun...smells like victory...like...hope.

They're also randomly sending me videos when they see fit and demanding that I upload them for the patrons, something about Kirito and All Might In the Booth, I dunno, those sound fake. I uploaded em all the same, out of fear of course...of the beatings...many...many savage beatings...while also still social distancing. They have a real big stick.

They did write out this statement that they ordered I post on this update for all of you:

"Times be scary, y'all. We want you guys to know that we're all in this together and it shows, when we stand, hand in hand, make our dreams come true... what was I talking about? Oh yeah, the pandemic. We're still working as hard as we can to get episodes out to you guys in these trying times. We've been very fortunate, in that we already work from home, but we know that's not the case for many of you and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all of the ridiculous amounts of work you're putting in to make sure we all stay safe. We're keeping up with our streams, we got a bunch of D&D as well as video games, we even have the discord movie hangs, we're doing our best to try to stay connected to you when it's easy to feel disconnected from everyone. As silly as we usually are, I'm sure you all know, this virus isn't a joke. We all need to stay home, flatten the curve, wash our hands, wear masks, and do pretty much everything we can to help each other.  We're sorry we won't get to see any of you at cons for the foreseeable future, but if we all do everything we can to flatten that curve, that date will be sooner rather than later.  We love every single one of you, stay safe. Mwah!"

Aww, they seem nice. Almost makes me forget that they beat me with an old rake while they dictated it.
Well, I'm off to lick my extremely literal wounds...
