Update: September 3rd, 2018
Added 2018-09-04 03:50:41 +0000 UTCOkay guys, here's the happy haps.
We're gonna break it down cause there's a lot more of you. Like a ridiculous amount of you. Thank you so much for your patronage. Like real talk? We wouldn't give us $5. You are allowing us to live. We wouldn't allow us to live. We don't deserve life. That's for people with real talent like doctors or mimes.
Anyway, as the internet once said to Firefly, "You're wonderful, we love you, don't leave".
UPDATE... ASSEMBLE!!!!!!
Why aren't you assembling... fine... we'll write it.
Alright, in episode 13 takedown news, if YouTube is being honest with us, and I can't imagine why they wouldn't be, SAOA Episode 13 should be back on our YouTube channel in the next 20 days or so!
Yaaaaaaaaaaa(internally screaming)aaaaaaaay!!!!!!
In the meantime, it is still available to all of our $5 and up Patrons,
but we have been looking into multiple ways to bring it to everyone else.
Way the first: Other video hosting sites.
We looked into a bunch of websites, including your many suggestions, such as Vimeo, Bitchute and (hilariously) PornHub. One of these sites dicked us pretty goddamn hard. That's right... Vimeo bent us over a barrel, savagely fucked us, told us they were done, spit on our backs, waited till we turned around, and then blew its load all over our collective faces.
Not only did Vimeo take the episode down, but they instantly deleted our account...and immediately gave us a full refund! I know that last thing defuses the anger a little bit, but I'm gonna keep it going!!!
THE BASTARDS!!!
The others sites didn't really inspire any more confidence. I mean, one of em was for gun safety videos, AND WE HERE AT SOMETHING WITTY ARE A SWORD PEOPLE!!! DAMN GUNS, TAKING THE FOOD OUT OF THE MOUTHS OF OUR SWORD BABOOS. I TELL YOU, THIS WORLD HAS REALLY GONE FAITH HILL SINCE THEY INVENTED THAT GUNPOWDER. NOW ARMIES ARE SLAUGHTERING MILLIONS AND WOMEN CAN VOTE! IT'S TERRIBLE!
So anyway, a lot of them seemed a bit shady and we'd rather not get into a situation of having our stuff on 15 different websites that we'd have to manage and probably just get taken off of anyway.
Better to side with the devil you know and all that shit.
Way the second: Making our own website
You may have heard of a little group called Team...was it three or four stars, I'm pretty sure it was stars... anywho, we reached out to TeamThreeTetrahedron to ask about building a video hosting site. They said "Don't" so we ain't gonna.
They told us about their many attempts to find a company to host their videos on their servers, but apparently they all kept dying. This made us the sad.
Way the third: Just share the Google Drive link
That's a Patreon reward. It's for patrons.
Way the forth: Fuck It
After careful consideration, we decided to do another stream on Twitch last Friday for the fans who had missed the premiere. We also decided to take a risk and archive the episode along with a Q&A from us:
https://www.twitch.tv/videos/304318218
We're unsure if/when Twitch will pull it down for copyright, but if it does and our Twitch channel is put at risk, then in the future episodes will be a Patreon exclusive until our counterclaim goes through and our episodes return to YouTube.
Here's hoping that doesn't happen!!! Woooo!!!! Don't be a Vimeo about this Twitch!!! Wooooooo!!!

Love,
Something Witty

Just saw this but when I, eventually, made my not-so-home server, I'll host them if it needs be. Not that I'm bothered with lawsuits, not with seeding 750 (so far) torrents constantly. Might get them, but I doubt it'll be for your videos before those torrents. :]

2018-09-16 11:15:12 +0000 UTCdailymotion is also a possibility

2018-09-15 00:25:32 +0000 UTCdoesn't look like it's actually them, but it *does* have in the ballpark of 2k views between two uploads.

2018-09-09 16:32:32 +0000 UTCReal talk: You don't have to be very talented, you just have to be more talented than Reki Kamehameha

2018-09-08 06:38:57 +0000 UTCYou really uploaded it to Pornhub?!? You guys are amazing.... ๐คฃ๐คฃ
2018-09-07 02:20:47 +0000 UTCEven if you dont host your videos on it I think having a site would help you guys and even sell merch on there, loved your guys shirts at AX if you decide to make any of them posters a website would be a good way to show them off and junk (shamelessly trying to get real client work under my belt dont hate me T>T)

2018-09-06 15:44:56 +0000 UTCI just thought of something, but what about newgrounds? I mean they seem to care about thei community pretty well. Though the question is would they be cool with this content, since they are mainly for indie animators, illustrators, and game devs. Though it's worth a shot.
2018-09-05 02:34:23 +0000 UTCYou should definitely build a site! You can even leverage Google drive on it. I messaged more details.

2018-09-04 16:39:21 +0000 UTCI was coming here to say the same thing. They have https://www.floatplane.com/ which was built for "creators" which would arguably include something like this. They built their own video streaming and comment server for there 6+ MILLION subscirbers

2018-09-04 12:00:46 +0000 UTCCould check out Floatplane who LTT (Linus Tech Tips) are in the process of building. They are running there own content a week ahead of YouTube but there goal is to expand out to get those effected by how garbage YouTube has been in the past few years
2018-09-04 10:42:32 +0000 UTCI watched the episode on twitch, then on pornhub, and now I've decided I'll just give you money lol. Seriously, great work. You guys are officially better than TFS. As the wholly unchallenged king of the internet, I hereby dub you as the abridging Gods, and as being worthy of a portion of my booze budget.
2018-09-04 06:38:10 +0000 UTCYeah...gonna have to agree with four star on this one. While a website advertising your group wouldn't be a terrible idea trying to run your own hosting just isn't going to work. For the amount the group could likely afford the bandwidth requirements would likely out strip it. To avoid the dreaded shut downs you'd likely need to run your own hardware and a dedicated line. Just not feasible. But regardless of hosting situations might make sense to consider a website. Might give you a stronger internet presence and more donations long term.

2018-09-04 05:25:35 +0000 UTCGuys, just get bought by Rooster Teeth, that's what everyone else is doing, then you can host it on their site. (I'm half kidding, it might genuinely be something to look in to).
