Finished reworking most of the system and am now getting into rewriting the first chapters with all of your suggestions. Due to Patreon being a hassle to read on, I'll be taking Senescent's advice and will be uploading Light and Dark mode PDF's moving forward so that you can open the file and read through your Kindle apps. I'll also be using a program that will help me utilize charts and blue boxes for this much more system-based story. I'll include a brief tidbit on Aegis here as well! For those of you who aren't following in the Discord, Book 3 of Summoner will begin shortly after completing Book 1 of Aegis.

This crunchy series, with creatures loosely based on some of our favorites from pre-existing games, revolves around a family of five and allows you to experience this vast and in-depth world through each of their eyes. Kyle—a father, ex-engineer, part-time teacher, and small business owner—protects his family while delving into the intricacies of the system in an attempt to comprehend its underlying principles. In doing so, he hopes to help his children and others game the system, even if that requires him to rush his own build. Leah—a mother, gamer, and former hospice worker—struggles with both her weakness and her place in this new world that is both a threat and an opportunity while working with her husband to build a safe haven for their kids, family, and friends. Their children—ten, six, and five—must find out who they are in this strange, new world while dodging monstrous threats and helping their parents as best they can.
