First Update of 2016

We posted this on Facebook yesterday, but we want to make sure you guys are up-to-date too: The December holidays and some actors getting sick has slowed us down a bit, so the new episode will probably take about a month longer than usual (so, around February). Other than that, we're right on track.
We also noticed that a lot more payments than usual were declined this month, and I thought I might have an idea as to why. I (YamatoSFX) give to another Patreon campaign each month, and when I was looking through my account settings, I noticed that my credit card info had expired. I hadn't received an email about it, so I wouldn't have known if I hadn't opened that page. So if you can, please check your payment settings to see if your credit card info is up-to-date.

2016-01-07 07:49:34 +0000 UTCA lot of people are receiving the new EMV credit cards, which is probably one of the major reasons why the decline rate went up for the project. I work in e-commerce, so I've seen this happening first hand. The massive number of people receiving a new card actually exposed a few bugs in the update credit card number code at my company, which wasn't fun at all.

(It's like a normal sickness, but makes you say a poop joke every 20 minutes.) As for the credit card info, good advice! I'd check if mine was up to date, but I can't seem to find that card. On an unrelated note, I've been getting a lot of bills for "exotic entertainment" and "party favors." No clue what that's all about. In any case, Happy New Year to the whole SAO Abridged team! Can't wait to see what you guys have in store! Just as long as Kirito continues to be correct! (or however the phrase goes) :p
