What they don't want you to know is that there is gear that is banned from competition, not because it is overpowered, quite the opposite. There is a lot of gear out there that provides negative effects to the wearer. Ever since that has been outlawed, most of that gear is treated as contraband or is repurposed into bondage gear.
One of the most infamous sets of gear comes from DJ Octavio himself. Each part of the set comes with its own disadvantage, but the real trickery begins when you wear multiple parts of the set. The more parts you wear, the more drastic the disadvantages become, even locking the gear in place until certain conditions are fulfilled.
This is the set that forced a change in the competition's rules, and yet somehow it has resurfaced in the hands of none other than Off the Hook's very own Marina. Then again, it's not like she really had a choice in equipping the set...
