For the first time, we didn't have to travel to meet one of our girls: Leona agreed to meet us at one of our offices in Salvador, as she prepared for her first time celebrating Carnival! In this special feature, join Leona as she immerses herself in the vibrant rhythm of samba, showcasing a side of her rarely seen on the battlefield. And we've got to say: she knows how to dance!
Leona, known for her stoic demeanor and deadly skills in fighting tournaments, really surprised us by partaking in the world-renowned Carnival festivities. This was the perfect opportunity for us to capture the essence of this extraordinary escapade, as we interviewed her about her fighting career.
Witnessing the stunning transformation of Leona Heidern as she embraces the spirit of Carnival is probably the biggest delight of this edition, and it really shows! The photoshoot came alive with images of Leona adorned in vibrant Carnival attire, seamlessly blending her warrior grace with the infectious energy of Brazil's most celebrated festival. And although her facial features don't burst into energetic smiles like most samba dancers, she won't let you down: her body makes up for it.
And she had some guys with her, somehow! From Terry Bogard showcasing his unique dance moves (and failing at Capoeira moves) to Mai Shiranui's captivating fan encounters, they all let loose in a way our crew had never seen before. Uncover the camaraderie and laughter that ensued as these formidable fighters embraced the joyous spirit of this unforgettable holiday!
Unfortunately, we couldn't talk too much to her, or even have the photoshoot amidst the background of the celebration, as the area was restricted for official events and a little too crowded already. Despite all of this, we were more than glad to have this first official chat with her, and for that, obrigado, Leona!
