This is yet another painting that immediately sets itself up to be one of my favourites of the year π»π»π» First off, I really like the colour palette here, with this warm, vibrant and red background, with the cooler blues and purples of Mizora standing out out the centre of it. The background looks great, with textured, silhouetted shapes on the sides, as a pale but warm light shines down in the centre. I really like the black, jagged rocks at the bottom, with hot, red effects rising up, tinting the rocks and giving this burning hot glow effect π₯ It really gives the piece a unique and sinister atmosphere that works beautifully for a demonic character like this π I really enjoy her pose too. She looks both foreboding and inviting at the same time. She smiles at us, but at the same time is raising her head and looking down at us too, making the expression more domineering. However, she also extends her arms in an inviting manner, palms open too, as if to invite us closer. This mixture of an invitation and malice works beautifully and makes her utterly captivating π₯°π₯°π₯° I also like the wings quite a lot too, as they spread out with wide, curving contours that add to their dynamism. And the way she crosses her thighs over, rounding out the shapes of her hips, with her dress blowing to one side to reveal her hip and thighs adds a lovely touch of sensuality to her. Elsewhere, the dress opening up to show off much of her chest and breasts, with her golden pendant standing out against the blue skin, drawing our eye to her chest, is another great, sensual detail. Her outfit has so much terrific texture to the materials too. We have a fluffy collar, with plenty of golden pieces adorning her hair, neck and hips, with the shoulders having these tight, creases and folds, while the sleeves and dress appear smoother. I really like the shoulders, with the brighter edge-lighting making them pop against the wings. The sleeves look very nice too, with their own edge-lighting to further define her arms. All of the jewellery has a lovely amount of intricate detail to them and the bright, golden shine makes them really stand out. I love the smoothness of the dress, with painterly textures to the folds that gather around her pelvis and flow down across her legs. The paler, shining patterns on her breasts look lovely too, adding further definition to the breasts with how they conform to their shapes. The nude version shares a quality with others of your most beautiful nude rendering throughout the year, such as Emily Wong, PadmΓ©, Phrasma and Shelob, to name a few. What I'm referring to here is the lighting. The contrast between the bright, pale light that bathes her body from above, with the darker shadows that run along her lower-left planes, is just perfect! π»π»π» The contrast is so striking, with the light and shadows working beautifully together to define the shapes of her body. I love the way the light hits her waist and abs from one side, with strong shadows across the other, while shadows also cut across her midsection, defining the smaller plane changes of the abs. Likewise, her thighs are wonderfully defined, as are her breasts, which look especially gorgeous with the way the shadows wrap around the pale light that bathes them from her upper right. A great detail too is how those shadows on the breasts also receive a subtle bounce-light, adding more contrast and definition. Seriously, she just looks so exceptionally well painted, with perfect skin textures, breathtaking lighting and incredible definition of all of the shapes and volumes of her body. I do also really like how you kept her shoulder clothing here. It frames her breasts so well, also contrasting with the brighter skin tones to accentuate them even further. I wonder, for the final reward versions, could you include nude versions that have both the shoulder clothes and the sleeves? I think that that could look incredibly sensual π₯°π₯°π₯° Oh goodness, I didn't even mention the wings yet! They too are packed with texture and I really like the colours here. The blend between dark blues and brighter reddish-purples on the membranes looks fantastic. It makes it feel like the wing membranes are partly transparent and the warm glow from the background is tining them that colour and I really like that. Her face looks so beautiful too πππ I love how she lifts her head to receive even more of that bright light, creating more striking contrasts with the shadows on her left side. The definition of her features is fantastic, I really like her nose, cheeks and chin here. Her orange eyes are also very captivating, standing out really well against her pale, grey-blue skin. And I do like the soft, subtle shine on her pale, purple lips. Absolutely fantastic work on this piece! I adore the colours, the atmosphere, the beautiful clothing, skin and face of the character and the great amount of personality that you've given her, through the pose and expression. Like I said, this one will definitely be among my favourites from this year π»π»π»π»π» πππππππππππππππππππππ
