2023-06-21 10:11:48 +0000 UTCHmm, there is something about the shape and shading of the head in this that makes Merrin seem too old I think, especially at a distance (To much old lady shading with the white hair and purple lipstick). I think her chin should be a little more pointed and her forehead is a bit too wide. I'd also suggest making her hair darker, it's not a pale-grey in the sequel and in the first game, its a lot darker-grey.

2023-06-21 01:06:40 +0000 UTCOooh, this looks gorgeous! I really like the background here, with the sky, foliage and trees looking very painterly with a nice blur to them. The cool colours look very lovely to me, with the brown tones along the ground and the tree trunks adding some contrast to the greens. Of course, Merrin herself is the focus and she looks terrific here. I like her pose, it's a nice, simple and appealing pose. I like the asymmetry in the arms and having her legs crossing over like she's taking a step forward. The way the magic fire in her hand sweeps and curls upwards adds another touch of motion to the scene too. And seeing her from this front view, with her legs crossing over, does show the curves of her waist and hips very nicely too. I also really like her subtle smile and the strands of hair falling between her eyes looks very sexy to me. The rendering here is looking great, of course. You have a tonne of texture in the various items of clothing that she has. Her jacket sleeves with their many folds and different coloured edge-lighting pop very nicely. I like the straps along her forearms and their smooth shine. The subtle blue tint to the top of the breast area, with warmer tones blended into the bottom planes creates a great colour contrast and makes the area look vibrant. Likewise, the colours blended into her pants look great too and I like the creases and folds at the pelvis. Looking at her nude variant, I really love that you left the jacket on. Her very pale, bright skin strongly contrasts with the black material and I love the way the open jacket spreads and drapes over her breasts, framing them very well. The smooth skin textures and tones across her body are all beautiful and I like that there's a subtle warmth to her skin, despite her being so pale. I do love cool toned pale skin too, but it's nice to see a warmer version of that here too πΈ The hair is really nicely done, I enjoy all of the overlapping strands and like I said, the strands falling across her face make her look very sexy. Her subtle smile looks lovely and I do like how she's looking right at us, with her dark eyes standing out against her bright skin and hair. Her smooth skin looks beautiful and I like the little shine spot on her nose. Of course, best of all are her smooth, purple lips π Wonderful work on this piece! The colours are gorgeous, there's a tonne of texture and you've made the character look very sensual and alluring. And with her clothes, I really like the way you mixed cool and warm tones into the black materials. πππππππππππππππππππππππ
