Pathfinder is a roleplaying game based off AD&D 3.5 edition. But in this case it refers to the Computer games based on that system by Owlcat. Its a isometric semi-open world series. In Kingmaker you are an adventurer sent out to tame a border region and establish your own kingdom. In Wrath of the Righteous (which just got released) your character is tasked with defending the world against demonic incursion and are granted fabulous secret powers to help... for good or ill. Its like old school bioware style games, lots of companions with cool backstories to meet/romance/make into your Waifu/Husbando.
