Thank you :))

As I mentioned on dA, I really like your take on RE2's Claire! You've done a very good work drawing her outfit in such detail and I'm totally digging the "biker pose/attitude". I remember that you mentioned your intention to work on "a remake of this picture to improve on it", but you've already done such a good work that I can't imagine what's left to improve here. ;)

Thank you very much CiarΓ‘n. You definitely gave the most amazingly detailed descriptions for this painting. I'm lost for words, just wanted to say thanks again!

Firstly, yes, Resident Evil 2 Remake is awesome! And secondly, your Claire Redfield is just as awesome! 😻😻😻 I was so not ready for just how cute Claire was going to be in REmake 2 and I just love all of her interactions with Leon, so I'm very pleased to see that you've painted her here and done an excellent job with her πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ Starting off, the colours are brilliant with the warm tones of Claire's skin, hair and clothes really popping out against the blue background. I like that you have some detail to the background with multiple hues of blue to keep it looking interesting, but not so in-depth as to distract from Claire. The bike also looks really good with it's colours with the bold red contrasted with the dark steel and I also really like the detail of how the red part of the bike causes a bit of red bounce-light onto the steel beneath it and onto Claire's right wrist. And just before I get to Claire herself, I think you did a really good job on the rendering of the bike too with the metal remaining dark while still having a shine to it and I particularly love that red part of the bike, the lighting, textures and definition of the shape really look fantastic, it's almost got this translucent shine to it that I don't know how to describe. But looking now to the centrepiece, the lovely Claire! 😻😻😻 Firstly, you did a great job in capturing Claire's likeness from the game, if you put this face and hair on a body with different clothing and didn't tell us who it was supposed to be, I would still be able to guess that it's meant to be Claire Redfield. Her pose is great too with the overall C curve that runs through her body as she leans forward, while the asymmetrical positions of her arms adds a further dynamic touch to her. And it must be said, the hand placed on her hip with her legs spreading to straddle the bike, all while her breasts and bum are pushed out as she leans are very sexy πŸ˜‰πŸ˜» The rendering on Claire is simply fantastic and I particularly enjoy her hair, you have a great deal of detail to it and that is accentuated even further by your use of rim-lighting on the top. My favourite section is at her ponytail where, using the rim-lights, we can see strands breaking away from the main body of hair. Her face looks super cute and you did a terrific job in defining her features, I especially like the red-tinted shadow that wraps around her cheek and jaw, as well as her vibrant blue eyes and the slight shine to her luscious lips. Her clothes look absolutely fantastic! You managed to put so much detail into them and I love how her pocket actually wraps over the shape of her breast with the two seams that run down her body being affected by the shapes of her ribs and waist underneath them. The textures of her red jacket also look so good! Picking out a couple of my favourite details, there's the way the "collar" folds over her right chest with a slight blue rim-light along the edge the material with thin occlusion shadows running alongside it to really make all the details pop. I also really like how you handled the centre of the jacket where the buttons are, the thin red light that runs adjacent to the buttons with the occlusion shadow alongside it again really shows how the material overlaps and it's such a great detail. (I really hope that I described what I meant properly and that that isn't just a confusing mess of word-salad πŸ˜…) I really could keep talking about how much I love the job you've done on her clothing, it looks so good! The overall lighting on the jacket with her front planes cast in shadow, with a red-tinted light running down her right side with bright-blue rim-lights along her waist for added contrast and definition of detail all look marvellous. And lastly for the red clothing, all the little folds, particularly on the shorts, are very well done. I'll skip ahead to the nude variant so that I can talk about her skin and body, but I really could keep talking about her clothes! Something that stood out to me immediately was that bright white rim-lighting along her shoulders, right arm and right waist and just like with the lighting on her hair and clothes, those areas as accentuated very well and really pop against the blue background. Her anatomy looks amazing and has so much to it with so much variation in the tones of her skin as the light and shadow define her body. I really like her neck and clavicles, the soft rendering of tones that define her breasts with the cast shadows between and beneath them to make them pop even more. The light that shines onto both her breasts and the area of her ribs to the side of her right breast with the smooth transition to the darker tones look so warm and appealing. I also love the transition from her ribs to her stomach and all of the details there. Her thighs have a great sense of subtle muscle tone to them while remaining smooth and soft looking. The lighting on her thighs is especially striking with the thin white shine running down their centres, while the sides are accentuated by dark shadows with warm red rim-lights cast onto them by the bike.. Seriously, fantastic work on Claire! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ You got her outfit perfectly! The face is accurate and very well done while I just love her hair and sensual posing. And there's much more that I didn't even touch on (like the occlusion shadow cast by her hand onto her hip, or the cast shadow that wraps over the shape of her left arm), suffice to say, I LOVE this painting! 😻😻😻😻😻
