Catwoman & Catgirl commission

2018-04-26 20:32:36 +0000 UTCOh, I really like these, the Catwoman painting looks gorgeous with the motion added by the swirling clouds in the background and the way her dress is billowing out and curving up on one side. Catwoman herself looks lovely with her green eyes, well defined face with that rim-light running down one side, as well as the hint of her black hair falling across her eye. I also really like the warm glow from the bat-signal that lights up the right side of her face and cowl, also provides a nice contrast with the cool night sky. The textures of her skin and the way her anatomy is defined looks great, especially so the brighter rim-lighting shining on her left side, her clavicles, shoulders, raised left arm and hand as well as her breasts look great thanks to this. I also think that her extended right arm is very well done with the core shadow running down the length of it, as well as the rendering of the plane changes across her arm. And lastly, her dress looks great with the painterly style used to render out the folds in the material, I think that the hard-edges here are a great way to define these forms. The Catgirl is very cute, looks like something out of Final Fantasy 14, the detail in her hair with so many strands breaking off and overlapping is brilliantly done and I like how there's a line of light shining across her fringe. Her big green eyes are gorgeous and like with Catwoman, the skin textures here are great. I also like that the straps across her neck and chest are casting shadows onto her skin, marvellous attention to detail there. Brilliant work on both of these paintings
