OK, I've reread this chapter and gathered some thoughts: I love it. We got even more absurd action than in the chapter 3 and Steve did a great job at conveying character's emotions through art. I think this is the most expressive the characters have ever been in this series. The pacing of the fight was good and I like the way the story is presented. Steve made a lot of artworks depicting gals but in the actual comic my expectations regarding their personalities and backstories have been nicely subverted. Crimson's father turned out to be different than I thought he would be and the revelation that Axelle might actually be losing all her fights on purpose was nice. Also: Tobu is a goober. I'm also happy that some of my predictions turned out to be true, which is Axelle winning and Graze having some kind of powers. This makes Crimson the only contender who doesn't cheat or use special abilities. Our little underdog <3 I'm really looking forward to the next chapter. Ring Cats is a very special series. So far it tickles this little rusted place in my soul and makes my inner child excited. This is the type of series I would enjoy as a kid.
