Thank you all for your support again this month! I have more fun stuff lined up for June!
First is an update to SilverExpressionTool. This plugin has always been a little rough. A lot of my scripts start out as experiments and just sort of evolve over time. What became ExpressionTool was actually a failed attempt at a lip-syncing system using visemes. I realized it would make a good expression tool (hence my super creative name for it :-P) and hacked it up for that purpose, but it had a lot of leftover scrap code and some needlessly complex solutions to simple problems.
So I've cleaned it up a lot, simplified it, and added a couple of new features. I'm hoping this will resolve some of the problems people have encountered, specifically around its failure to start correctly when loading a save and its tendency to forget some of its settings. I've also changed the morph value from fixed to randomized. You can set a min and max value for each expression bank. This update is done, I just need to test it a little more.
Next up is a new plugin called SilverExpressionAction (probably.. I don't like how long that name is, but I feel committed now to putting Silver at the beginning of all the plugin names :-D ). This is a spin-off of ExpressionTool. It allows expression animations to be triggered by VaM actions or by other scripts. If you've used SilverEJ, it's a bit like the climax face that gets triggered in the male. I'll try to make some GIFs to demonstrate its usefulness. This will be a subscriber exclusive and will arrive this month.
I may, as I often do, take a break from plugins to make a new look.
Oh, and as most of you have probably noticed, I started up a Discord server. If you are subscribed and have your Discord account linked, you should be added already. If not, let me know. This is mostly a way for me to share updates that might not be appropriate on Patreon.
