In other news, I'm making headway on the BGs for Ch 1! Still not my strong suit, but I'm getting better.

I forgot about Kai and he is a chief editor? Or chief detective. My first thought is Azriel. It could be Rook. Isn't he a noble fae? Edit: I doubt it's Xander because he owns a hotel and horses. Horses are really expensive to feed, board and maintain. Vet bills for them can go up to the thousands.
