Here it is! 🎉 We’re excited to share the Naked Version of the third Pre-Animation of Foxlo’s Transformation into a Giant Blueberry, which also combines Live Action with CGI! 🫐 More information. ⬇️

To wrap up the month, we’re bringing you this special nude version of the third Pre-Animation of our movie, which turned out to be the most complex one so far—both in terms of animation and VFX work. 🥵 As we mentioned in our earlier post, the process was extra challenging because we had to migrate all the assets from Blender to Maya. 💻 That’s right! For this shot, we also decided to try rendering with Arnold and the results speak for themselves. 🔥

If you’ve seen the storyboard, you already know what happens in this scene: Veroиa mocks Foxlo’s body and Foxlo (in an attempt to look less bloated) pushes her belly inward. 🤰🏼But by doing so, she sends a huge amount of blueberry juice to her backside, causing it to swell (which we’ll see in more detail in Shot 04). 🧃Now, you get to enjoy that hilarious moment in a nude version, where you can fully see how Foxlo’s breasts grow and bounce in the air, along with the incredible expansion of her belly and her butt. 🍑💦

🛠️ On the technical side:

Animation was done in Blender, using rotoscoping from the live footage.
Softbody effects were created in Houdini.
Foxlo’s real head was composited onto her digital body in Nuke.
Lighting and rendering were handled in Maya using Arnold.

⚠️ Just a reminder: these are Pre-Animations, not the final result. Once these are completed, we’ll move on to updating the environment and character geometries to achieve a much more polished and realistic look. 🎞️ For now, these are mainly used to define the pacing of the sequence. ⬇️Video Link⬇️
