Here we bring you the next four poses of our beloved Lumpa 69, the star worker of the entire factory! 🛠️🍫 This process of creating poses allows us to study the characters in more depth, especially as we prepare for their 3D animation. 🧡
Why is this step so important? Because certain aspects just can’t be translated directly from 2D to 3D. However, we use these 2D references to help bring that cartoonish style into our 3D models. 🎨✨ It’s essential to capture and preserve the 2D essence while adapting it to 3D, particularly for our Lumpas—the wackiest and most stylized characters in the entire factory! Below, you’ll find an image showcasing the four reference drawings we used for this project.
The poses were created using Blender, but we’re also developing a rig for Maya so our team of animators who work with that software can use it too. Remember, if you’d like a custom Lumpa, you can request one by subscribing to the Choco-Worker tier (they are duddle de lee-cious! 🍫). With your subscription, you’ll have the chance to let your creativity run wild and create a unique character that will be featured in our amazing short-film!
Finally, we want to thank you all for the incredible support our Patreon has been receiving. 💚 Your contributions are what make this project possible. Sending hugs and kisses to everyone! 💋
