Hello everyone! 💜 Here’s the final render, complete with lighting and sound effects, of the test featuring Foxlo transformed into a giant blueberry, rolling and being pushed by the Lumpas! 🫐✨ That’s right—now you can enjoy this new render that recreates one of the most iconic moments from the 2005 movie, when Violet is rolled through the Inventing Room by the Oompa Loompas. 🎬
As we’ve mentioned before, these tests do not represent the final version of our project. However, they are essential for studying physics, collisions, shots, and animation. Our goal is to capture the essence of this scene as much as possible so we can craft our own version, ensuring that we convey both the humor 🤭 and tension 😮 of the situation.
On a technical level, the animation was created in Blender, and the VFX (softbody and physics) were handled in Houdini. Additionally, this test marks the first time we’ve animated our Blueberry Foxlo with her updated inflated head, along with her hands and feet. 🌀🫐
Each of these advances brings us one step closer to achieving the final result of our project. Thank you all so much for your help and support—because of you, this incredible project will become a reality. Sending you all our love! 💋💕

In the final footage, Foxlo will provide his own voice for the character. But in the tests, we're using the film's sounds only as a study and exercise to capture the essence and fine-tune the lipsync in the animation, something we've explained several times in various publications
