Here’s the illuminated render with sound effects of the recent blendshape test we created for the transformation of our beloved Foxlo into a giant blueberry! 🫐

As you can see, we’ve made several improvements to the animation: the camera is now more stable, the scene is less cluttered with pipes, and the lighting enhances and defines Foxlo’s body volumes much better, especially highlighting her curves and glutes. 🍑 Additionally, we added a softbody effect to her backside to further emphasize the sensation of juice accumulating inside her body. Oh yes, the ideal physique!

This shot will help us study and better define how the scene will look in the final film. Our goal is to use the 2005 movie’s scene as inspiration to enhance the animation and shots, resulting in something truly unique and different. For example, we’ve taken the moment when Violet’s backside grows and added an additional, more dramatic camera shotfor a fresh perspective. 🎥

On the technical side, the animation and lighting were done in Blender, while the softbody effect was created in Houdini, as usual. We’re preparing much more content! Our ultimate goal is to combine all these test shots into a full previsualization that aligns with the live-action footage we recorded with Foxlo. This will serve as a foundation to further develop and build the final animation for the film. 🎬
