💜Foxlo 3D Body 10💜

Today we’re thrilled to share the first preview of the blue-purple skin texture for the blueberry transformation of our beloved Foxlo’s digital double. ✨ While this is a major milestone in the process, keep in mind this is not the final look. Soon, we'll showcase a fully lit render with sound effects, bringing the scene to life in a spectacular way. Consider what we’re showing today just a teaser of what's to come. Of course my berries!
We’re working very hard to make Foxlo’s inflation feel as realistic and well-executed as possible. This process is proving to be more challenging than expected. because, unlike the fully inflated body (which you’ve seen in previous animations), this version needs to transition from slim to swollen in just a few seconds, and achieving that smooth transition has been our biggest challenge.

We also want to mention that we’re taking inspiration from the famous scene in the movie, using the shot where Violet’s face swells up in close-up as a key reference. This helps us capture the spirit of the transformation while adding our own unique twist. This is cinema! 🎥🫐
From a technical standpoint, we’re currently creating the blendshapes in Blender and texturing in Substance. 🖥️🎨 Our plan is to export the different geometries to Maya for proper rigging and animation once this phase is complete. Watch the video there… ⬇️
We hope you enjoy this sneak peek and continue to join us on this journey. Thank you so much for your support—because you make this possible! 💜👏

2025-02-13 09:27:09 +0000 UTCLove it! How long is the overall “transformation” process planned to be? From the sound of it this transformation will be more instantaneous as opposed to “gradual” like in the film?
