As promised, here’s the latest update on our Blueberry Soft Body! And not just one version—we’ve got two: one with smoke and one without it! 💨🫐

We’ve added pipes to the scene to make it look more like the Inventing Room and created volumetric smoke simulations, representing the emissions or leaks from the pipes. These effects, along with the Soft Body animation, were generated in Houdini, while the models were crafted using Blender and Zbrush.

This brings us closer to the final result, although there’s still work to do! This room is NOT the final version to be featured in the film. The Inventing Room is being fully recreated in Unreal Engine, with far more elements and complexity. Think of this as a mock-up for testing the integration of the scene. A perfect result with a lot of work!

We’ve also added sound effects! 🎵 What you hear is Foxlo’s own voice—she recorded some audios specifically for this scene. Alongside that, you can hear the sound of blueberry juice sloshing around, the impacts of her body colliding with the floor, and the delightful bouncing effects.
