Added 2024-11-29 13:16:50 +0000 UTCHere you have the soft body effect of our Foxlo Blueberry with lighting already applied! ๐ Now you can see the textures and volumes much better thanks to the render we made in Blender. ๐ฅ
To achieve this result, we first exported the animation in Alembic (ABC) format from Houdini (it weighed about 17GB!) and finally imported it into Blender. Using the Cycles render engine, we rendered the previously illuminated geometry. This process will also be used for the final material in the film, though this is test lighting and does not represent the final look! ๐
You can see how the model perfectly collides with the ground, with better textures, lighting that adds volume, and improved chromatic range. ๐จ Weโve also included a few images of the final Foxlo head model. The current head and limbs are provisional geometries, which will soon be replaced by finished models, completing the transformation!
Now all thatโs left is to add a choir of Lumpas singing in the background ๐ถ to accompany this scene. And who says choir, says... A Custom Chocoworker Model!
