OK, the story ...
Since the Easter bunny was cooked and eaten by the Space Pope a new source for Easter Eggs had to be found. Leela never should have mentioned that she sometimes laid eggs. Now Dr. Goodensexy Cahill and the lovely nurse Wong use the Probulator to stimulate Leela's natural egg laying ability. Since she's the only remaining source of Easter Eggs she's got a lot of eggs to produce.
