Back from Germany and right back into work!

I had two trips back-to-back! First Florida, then Germany. I haven’t taken that much time off in ages, and honestly, I was nervous about it. The last time I stepped away that long, I fell so far behind it took a month to catch up.

This time, though, things went so much better. Over the past half year, Donna and I have been putting in a lot of effort to improve our workflows and get the help we need so we’re not doing everything ourselves. Our producer has been especially incredible. We’re both a little messy when we work, so having someone keep us on track has been a godsend. I’ve also gotten more comfortable asking for help in areas where I’m not strong.

I still fell a little behind, but not nearly as much as before. I should be back to normal by the end of the week (fingers crossed)!
