The wait is over! I talked about this illustration almost one year ago and how much I wanted to share it with you guys, but the zine had some printing issues and everything was very much delayed. But now that digital delivery is finished, I can post my full piece!! Earlier for our patrons!!! Hope you like it ♥♥
For this one, I tried something new and different from what I usually do: I wanted to recreate, even a little, an anime frame feel. I took inspiration from several Ghibli movies for the colors and atmosphere - and I know I didn't get close, not even a bit, but the end result is nice imho. Now I know I could add some touches here and there, little details and splashes of color that would make the image more cohesive, but... It's a process! I'm learning everyday!
