NEON STRIP LIGHTS
Added 2019-03-28 00:48:29 +0000 UTCI had a mighty need for some basic neon lights, so I repurposed the Strip Light that came with StrangerVille (required).
A note about these: I have recoloured the light itself so that even when not lit it still shows the colour it’s meant to be. I have also changed the light tuning so that each light starts out the colour it’s meant to be, and is brighter and more vibrant than the usual options available to us when clicking ‘Change color and intensity...’
There are two downsides (or perhaps you can call them ‘features’) to this.
First, each light has to be in its own package, and therefore shows up as its own item and thumbnail--like the new lava lamps that came with Strangerville.
Second, if you go to change the intensity the colour will revert to the standard off-white, and changing it back to a neon colour will not bring it back to the exact colour and intensity I have chosen. This is because I’ve chosen colours and intensities that are brighter and more vibrant than those available in the in-game menu panel. To get these bright neons back again you have to sell the light and replace it with a new one. Or, you can simply choose one of the regular neon lighting colours and strengths from the ‘Change color and intensity...’ panel instead, it’s up to you.
Screenshots are taken without ReShade, against a standard brick wall, with a light grey chair and light grey concrete floor. There are no other lights in the scene, and it is taken at night.
