We've taken inspiration from some of your request to flesh our Marcus and Iulius' setting a bit more.
There's no Saint Valentine in Altia so, technically, no Valentine's day. Altians do, however, celebrate love and lovers on February 14th: people in love are expected to share flowers (fresh flowers, flower crowns, bouquets, etc) and fresh fruit, symbols of the Spring that's soon to come.
Of course Marcus and Iulius celebrate every year ♥
