Alice: Here we are with the first sneak peek from one of our projects! As you can see it's an ancient Greece themed story where the main character is Aster, the minotaur. The story is veeeery loosely based on the original myth: it's a coming of age story about the fear of growing up, owning your mistakes and growing from them. The target of "Aster and the son of Athens" is kids aged 10-13. I'm used to writing for an adult audience and this is actually a challenge I'm willing to embrace! I had a lot of fun drafting the story, and now that I've finished my writing school I can really develop and flesh out the characters. I can't wait to be able to tell you more! 。゚( ゚^∀^゚)゚。
Diamante: ASTER.. Is giving me so much trouble! Chiron and Theseus were pretty good on their first/second draft, Mikrion on the other hand has to be explored more and it's okay, but ASTER?? Aster is a nightmare. I don't know how to make him look like a 13-15 something year old! And you can see it by how many attempts we're sharing (and it's not all of them. I have like three pages full of Aster's random faces). For now, the one I like the most is the one where he's yelling (representing my inner turmoil when drawing him).
