Oh man, this page took me a while, but I’m finally getting the hang of Clip Studio a bit more. I think it looks better than the previous ones, right? Oof, the first frame with Hunter was such a headache haha, if you saw the sketch, it was just his hand pushing Luz away, but it felt too simple. I tried several drafts and nothing was working, but I think that final perspective turned out pretty cool!
Also, the pose with the character sitting on the shoulders was so tricky lol. In the previous pages, I only had to do close-up shots, but this time I had to draw both of them fully and yeah, it was a challenge! But I think it made the page feel more dynamic in the end, so it was worth it!
I promised myself I’d improve in everything: anatomy, expressions… and now I added a bit of shading and tried making the backgrounds more dynamic so it’s not always the same beach scene. Hopefully it looks better? :b
Anyway, I’ll post another update in a few days. I’ve been a bit inactive this month. As always thank you for your support and patience. :D
