It has been a mad few weeks for me. I have been travelling for work, and because of the weather in Oregon I was stuck there for a few more days than expected! Which is why I wasn't able to get a video out for this past Friday.
I thought I would give you a sneak peak of the progress so far with my plants, as well as another project I have been working on.
Firstly some good news, BOTH competition Poblanos seeds have germinated! The soil one took a week longer than the Hydro one. But both are doing well. I have the start of a couple of the Spaghetti peppers too.
I also started a new batch of seeds, just in case. The box on the top there with the screen is a little waterproof temperature sensor I built to keep track of the water temp.
I showed a picture to a friend of the project I'm working on and he assumed it was a bomb... It is in fact a controller I am building for my Hydro Ebb and Flood system. It has a a sensor to detect the light levels (the information will be used to optimise the flooding schedule...still working on the calculations for that). The 3 knobs are for adjusting the duration and interval for the pump, and light levels threshold. There will be a small relay controlling the pump, as well as an LCD for display.
I will be busy this weekend potting up and moving plants out to the small geeenhouse, and should have a video out on Monday if all goes to plan! How is your season going?
