Yes, all us creators do a Gift Buying Guide at the holidays. I get so many questions about affordable tools, that it made sense to do a video. I also focused on gifts that your friends and family can buy YOU. So find a subtle way to play this video while someone else is in the room. Put it up on the big TV. "Misplace" your headphones and turn the volume up a little. You can figure it out.

I've also been working hard on my photography skills and changing several settings on my camera. The result is some inconsistent lighting on this first cut of the video. We'll clean it up in post as we do the next edit. I know things look a little different. I have to stumble through a few things as I refine my skills. Thanks for your patience.
Finally, the scholarships have been awarded! The deliberations are over and we're delighted to have a list of the winners. We're making an announcement video today and we'll have that up on Tuesday (we hope). Thanks to everyone who applied. The whole thing has been a huge success.

They are an inexpensive and effective design...but I find them far harder to use than backsaws. I'm buying them as I find them and working on my technique so that I can bring this wonderful tool to more people, but it's a long road.
