Exclusive Video: WBS #3 Mortise and Tenon Magazine

Friends:

Last night, we had the privilege of hosting the editors of Mortise and Tenon Magazine for a mind-blowing tour of their pre-industrial shop, including benches, tools, hewing stump and a spring-pole lathe. After the tour, we settled in for a long Q&A about all things furniture and woodworking.

It was a blast and I'm delighted to bring you the video. This recording is exclusive to Patrons at the Partner and Leader level and your support makes it possible. Thank you.

A note for future episodes: These broadcasts are technically tricky and the resulting video is a very big file. In addition, our tech-man Bob often needs to edit the final video a bit and fix a few things before uploading. Getting the video out to you is our highest priority, but it will often not be ready until the next morning. We beg your patience as we strive to make it the best possible experience.

Thanks again!

Such amazign gentlemen. Totaly genuine. The courage to have created such a magazine is tremendous. Merci for that interview,

Thanks so much Rex. Once again you've opened my eyes!

Alex Taylor

I find the whole thing a wonderful way to while away my time, that is, without feeling that I've wasted a second. So happy to have joined up.

I can't believe I got sidetracked and missed this "live". Actually, I DO believe it. I spend far more time on the sidetracks than on the main line... I am thoroughly disappointed in myself though. This was an interesting, insightful and teach-y without being preach-y episode.

Jeff Tinsley

Excellent interview Rex. I love the simplicity direction of Joshua and Michael's work; even as far as having no electricity in their shop. Headed over to www.MortiseAndTenonMag.com now.

#Freeboard!

OMG! What Joshua does with marking gauge and bench hook (planing stop) is exactly what I have been doing ever since high school and everyone told me that it was weird and stupid, but IT WORKS!

Martin Hartley

Thank you Rex, I can not wait to watch it tonight once done with work.
