Nice

Cool beans! Beautiful area. I grew up in Roxbury, when it was a "town" of about 900 people!

Jonathan Lillpopp

I thought as much. I understood what you meant, but had to let you know that something was of there. And I thought it was hilarious too :-)

Frans van Ballegooijen

Newtown; near Danbury.

Yup, totally a speech-to-text thing, but we still should have caught it. We'll get it fixed!

Rex Krueger

That's a typo for sure! We'll get that fixed!

Are you using speech-to-text? Because this one took some deciphering for me (another non-native English speaker) to understand. You can use a different tool such as a chisel or a carving knife to smooth out the trimmed corners of the front legs if you prefer, but you’ll want to use *something*, because they’re likely to be a bit too rough if you just saw off the corners and leave them like that. Remember that these corners will be quite close to the user’s face and hands as they reach into the desk, which is why you want to trim off that sharp corner in the first place.

Thanks for the plans Rex. But one thing puzzles me. English may not be my first language, but I like to think that I understand a good bit of it. But in your plans for the Frontiers Desk, where you trim the corners of the front legs you state: "Remove the waste with a chisel, And then play in the service flat." I understand the first bit, butt why do I have to play in a service flat? Seems a waste of time to me ;-)

Love the school desk, definitely going to try this one out soon!

Barmp

Fantastic and inspiring!

Patrick Salsbury

Rex, you never cease to amaze me! So... once again, well done, sir! BTW I loved the video of you coming home to CT. What area is that? I pictured Lebanon, but anywhere in NW or NE CT looks similar. Thanks, again. Take care!

Jonathan Lillpopp

This is fantastic. I found you long after I spent a few bucks on power tools, and now find myself regularly preferring hand tools. I really do appreciate your approach and knowledge.

Jeff Shinn

Oh no, now I have so much to dooooo! Thanks much, Rex. You've really changed how I do my woodworking, taught me a ton, and thereby increased my enjoyment of it.

Kenneth Carlile

Thank you for all you do for us Rex!!!
