PS: As I say in the video, we would LOVE to ship internationally, but the cost is really insane. Some countries cost $150 to ship a book to. Please believe that we researched it exhaustively before deciding we can't do it.

They are less familiar with the Sound of Musik than The Terminator--my sympathies. As a work around for Rex's book, it may be less expensive for someone like me to buy it and ship it to you as a "gift" than for Rex to sell it to you. I could help.

I volunteer as a mentor to LGBTQ youth and we made up a program called "Queer Scouts" to teach them various things and do projects together. I was wondering if I may share excerpts from your book or plans with them? Your projects feel like something they can accomplish with supervision and instruction. 2021-06-12 00:59:57 +0000 UTCTo my fellow Canadians: here's a tip from a guy who's been mail ordering stuff for a very long time - when a US company says they don't ship internationally, that sometimes does *not* exclude Canada. I just ordered my own Patron copy from Rex's store site, and it let me place an order just fine. (The order form on that site allows two countries: US and Canada.) So Rex can correct me if I'm wrong, but it sure looks like Canadians can get in on this, no problem. I just got my confirmation email, so my fingers are crossed! :)

Therefore, I will be just happy keeping my preorder on amazon.de. It will arrive late; they estimate two weeks after release. I think it is because they will haul bulk orders from their US facilities to Europe and distribute it then. I can wait. Because of your videos I can spend the days actually doing some woodworking instead of just watching people use expensive power tools getting perfect results... Your woodworking for humans is awesome in its honesty regarding mistakes and the “you can make it good enough” attitude. Thank you for that Rex.
