Friends:
I hope you enjoy these plans (attached down below). I l really enjoy giving them to a community of craftspeople who will use them.
I have another great homemade tool that will be ready on Saturday.
Until then, I'm still your humble narrator,

It probably wouldn't last as long...but then again, it might be fine. Only one way to find out. If 2x4 is what you got, then go build it!

2020-01-17 14:57:09 +0000 UTCWhat are the downsides to building this out of a stretch of 2x4 instead of hardwood? Thanks for sharing.

2020-01-17 09:03:25 +0000 UTCI too, appreciate this. I think when you get into it though, Paul spends a lot of time dispelling myths and trying to convince you it's possible. For me, I feel like your enthusiasm for traditional tools and methods is what I really come for. I know I can do it. You're not trying to convince me, you're encouraging me to make the leap from " I could do it" to "I did it, and I learned more by doing it".

2020-01-16 11:33:19 +0000 UTCI'm very influenced by Paul, but if I thought one of my videos was just going to copy him, I wouldn't do it. My goal is to make things even EASIER than Paul does. I think his skill is still intimidating.

2020-01-15 11:27:46 +0000 UTCRex, I want to let you know that, I love the fact that every time is see one of your new videos, I say to myself that, he has seen Paul Sellers, yet everytime you pull out some new trick (ie cut the piece in half to ease the mortise or add a carrage bolt to add a impact resistant striking surface. ) Your innovation and thriftyness are an inspiration, just as much as Paul brings the traditional skill to the table. Thank you again.

2020-01-15 06:16:36 +0000 UTCThat video was the best allen key router I'd seen. I liked how he bent the angle.

2020-01-15 03:08:11 +0000 UTCThanks, that's in my archive now. I've been planning to make a routerplane for some time now. Not sure yet if it's gonna be this one or the allen key one I linked that video of a couple of days ago. Looking forward to your next project.
