A very brief intermission

My fabrication business has gotten a bit crazy. I've been working on a monster piece for several months now. Here's the sketchup:

This thing is 11 feet long and seven feet high. It has 6 raised panel doors, built-in shelves, and 2 custom-made file drawers. It comes apart into six sections for moving.

It's been a very difficult project and I was planning to deliver at the end of June. As you can see, it's not quite finished:

But last week, the client called and said he needs it delivered by May 9th. He also offered me a hefty bonus to get it done.

So, I have about a week to do two months worth of work. I've been burning the midnight oil for days and today, it's getting moved to the shop where it will be stained and sprayed.

It's still going to be super-tight to finish it on time. I expect to work through the weekend and even then, I'm not sure I'll make it.

Oh, I also appear to have some kind of stomach-bug.

The up-shot here is that I'm not going to be releasing a video or much content this week. I hope you all understand.

On the upside, I have some great stuff in the works. I've already shot a video on making tenons on the table-saw with no bulky jig. And I'm planning a whole series on some of the insanely cheap import tools I've been finding on sites like Aliexpress.

And while I'm working on those, I'm also in the #rocklerplywooddchallenge (google it or check it out on instagram).

I've got a great idea to make something out of plywood that's really new. And I promise you'll all hear about it LONG before the rest of the world.

So, thanks in advance for your patience. There will be a brief interruption in content, but I'll be back with a vengeance next week.
