This is the part I dont like about the "late" Soul land. Tang Clan has secret hidden weapons and apparently secret hidden attacks. The batwind rebound he used to win the tournament was one of those attacks, this was another one, and there are more. We know they exist cause he spoke about it, but we dont know the requirements or using them. Sometimes he will use them but dont xpect to have a detailed list of the skills and their requirements.
I dont know why the writer puts himself or Tang san in a position where his only way out is a Deus ex machina.
