If I were to think bad of Bibi Dong i would say: She knew her daughter had the Angel, and that would probably be a problem for her to take over Martial Soul hall in the future, so she send her away to Tiandou empire to do "spy" work. All these works and appointments posing as prince obviously make a big hit in her daughter's cultivation, cause she was awakened with lvl20 (this happens at the age of 6). For some reason, QianRenXue learns that her mother actually killed her father, and decides to be a double agent and try to take over TianDou empire for herself, or for Martial soul hall since they don't see a good future with the escalating Bibi Dong ambition. Until this point I can make a story that makes sense. The next part destroys my theory cause even when QianRenxue fails, and she is left with nothing and a relatively low cultivation (lvl70 something close to 35) she is still chosen to inherit the thingy and she even receives the highest trial that not even her grandfather knows about, when her cultivation is obviously mediocre.

Ok, ep 134 (XW's sacrifice) is spectacular too but that is only at the epicness of a Great Soul Land Master as a comparison but ep155 will be at Supreme Grand Soul Land Master level. P.S. I see you're switching between different subs. You can try out myanime.live (formerly called izfanmade). They provide 1080p resolution and decent English subtitles although I prefer the subs from Crimsonfansubs as they use the terms from the novel but it might be confusing to you since you're used to the Tencent subs.
