Lana was a little tipsy. Actually, she was well on her way to being smashed. That was okay, though; the main point of office holiday parties was to get drunk and do things you would regret the next day. Or for the next six months.
Besides, she had a good reason to celebrate. Earlier that day, her boss told her she was getting the promotion she had wanted. Lana had worked her ass off to earn that promotion. In more ways than one! She had slept with no less than three members of upper management to help convince them she was the most qualified person for the job.
Of course, she really was the best candidate for the position! Lana had a lot more experience than Regina, the other woman who had applied for the job. She just wanted to make sure that the managers were fully aware of her qualifications. She also wanted them to know that she was a team player, willing to give her all for the company’s benefit...
“Lana, may I have a word with you in private?”
Lana jumped, spilling her drink. Fuck! How had Regina snuck up on her like that? She hastily brushed away a few droplets of vodka clinging to her dress. “Umm… I guess,” she answered hesitantly.
Regina smiled and beckoned for Lana to follow. She kept her eyes focused on the small of the other woman’s back and tried not to stumble as they left the conference room where the festivities were still under full swing. It annoyed Lana that Regina appeared to be in full possession of her faculties. It also annoyed her that Regina was a natural blonde, and was taller than she was. Lana consoled herself with the fact that her tits were bigger.
Regina led her into a waiting room that had been decorated for the holiday season. Lana thought the gift boxes under the tree were just for show, but to her surprise, Regina bent down to pick one up and offered it to her.
“This is for you, Lana,” Regina declared with a wry smile. “I wanted to show you there were no hard feelings over the promotion…”
(Oh, my! What gift did Regina buy for Lana? You get to decide! Of course, there is nothing at all sinister about the gift. Of course not! Ahem…)
