Aegon gets used to his throne and Daemon makes a move that proves fatal for an innocent in the wrong place at the wrong time D:

I didn't know about what happened in the book, but I checked out what they changed from it in this scene after watching the episode and I get your point! They implied Daemon gave the go ahead in case they couldn't find Aemond, but I feel they left most of it up to interpretation

2024-06-18 02:31:24 +0000 UTCBook reader and recieved my first disappointment of this show so far, in how they handled that final scene which was a Red Wedding tier infamous event in the books much more cruel and deliberate and impactful. Felt they fumbled trying to sanitize it, came off like a bumbling mishap instead to make Daemon less to blame. Not watched reaction yet as late here, regardless looking forward to watching with youse tomorrow and watching the rest of season.
