This was a cool one! They are great performers aren't they? As you find this song catchy I would really recommend you watch Pentatonix's cover of this which is a mash up with another BTS song, Butter. It's a lot of fun, there is some dancing and they use similar colours in the video. Kevin and Matt do a bit of a rap breakdown too!

Dynamite was one of the first K-Pop songs I ever heard. And who could not like it? Well choreographed, well sung, and a ton of fun to listen to. Don't really need to say more.

Forestella's cover of Abracadabra is incredible, Mary! 🎵😃And their dancing, very impressive 🕺🏽They are not only incredibly talented, but also very hard working professionals! Hights is something i try to avoid at all costs🤣😂I get dizzy only by thinking of it.🤢This and elevators.

Loved this r/a and the extra video review, SH. This is such a catchy song. Really enjoyed your analysis — with both its simplicity and what makes the song work so well. Is it just me? With the treated vocals, the first singer sounded so much like Mitch of PTX to me.... I'm also afraid of heights -- I actually froze climbing up a very steep mountain -- a cliff really -- in Israel a number of years ago. Members of my group came and got before and behind me and I got to the top. Whoosh! Wouldn't want to do that again (but we had walked a couple miles from where the bus dropped us off, and the bus was picking us back up close to the top of the cliff, so there wasn't really a choice. That day, I just embarrassed -- my group clapped for me when I got to the top -- but now I am proud!). Since then, my fear of heights isn't quite as great, but it's still there... What you say about dancing made me think of Forestella's new video of Abracadabra where they dance. They trained daily for about 3 months to be able to do it. It looks like they'll be including dancing going forward, as there is a fabulous cover of Handclap in their most recent concert where they dance. Their dance teacher did some work with BTS in the past. Back to Dynamite: great live version is their Tiny Desk concert: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFYAXsa7pe8 Please show NPR a little love in the wake of losing their funding -- give it a like if you can... Really enjoyed this video! Thanks, as always for your great analysis, SH!
