Mini Update
Added 2021-02-16 08:42:47 +0000 UTCSo I've been experimenting with a new softbody physics system and the trouble is that it does not play well with expansion and likes to explode. My current thinking is that I should instead work more with animating shape keys to sell the illusion of skin to skin contact.
This means animating deformations by hand which is more time consuming but should produce significantly nicer results. I've got a little test animation on the way that I'm polishing up now, so you guys can look forward to that ;3
Edit: the mini animation is made and you guys will get to see it soon, it's rendering at this very moment but it's taking forever to do the background because I just had to be fancy and do a moving camera...
