2022-03-24 16:44:05 +0000 UTCYes….this was the big popping off episode of the series, as it set our protagonist down the “lone wolf and cub” path There is much Mandalorian lore established in the Clone Wars and Rebels animated series which you should DEFINITELY watch, but for now, the series explains all that’s necessary, they have cool armor, the follow a strict code, they don’t mind fighting each other, but they’ll protect each other as needed; their world was taken over by the Empire back in “the great purge” and now this sect lives in hiding, working bounty hunting jobs to gain money to rebuild and recruit foundlings In the flashback we see when the Armorer forges the new armor, we see a child being hidden by his red-robe clad parents, only to see B2 battle droids attacking their city. These droids establish the time period of the flashbacks as The Clone Wars (between AOTC/ROTS)approximately 30 years ago.
